Photographing your work in the best light possible is important. Shoot in natural light, or, if working indoors, do not use a flash and avoid glare. Set up your camera parallel to 2D art work, filing the frame and cropping out any background. If your work is an installation, shoot the work against a blank surface.
If your art is juried in, you may receive a request for a written and/or recorded a statement to be used for the awards ceremony. You may also be asked for additional photographs of your work to be used for the Berkshire Museum virtual gallery.
if you wish to sell your work, please set your price keeping in mind that 20% will go to the Berkshire Art Association, and that Massachusetts sales tax is 6.25%.
